That house looks so much like the house I grew up in. My grandparents lived next door to us as my siblings and I were growing up and they were like a second set of parents to us. My grandfather died when I was 17 but my 95 y/o grandmother is still alive. However, she just recently became very ill and was placed in hospice this past weekend. My heart is aching so much. I can't bear the thought of her not being with us, but I also can't stand to think of her in pain. :0( It is so hard to let go of someone you love so much. Thanks for sharing your memories.

Thanks, too, for stopping by my blog for Friday Follow AND for becoming a 'Follower'. I'm really excited because I love to make new blog friends. :0) I really hope you will come by and visit again soon. I just became your newest Follower and I look forward to reading more of your blog soon.

I hope you and your 'little chick' have a wonderfully blessed week ahead!

Teresa <><

♥ Too Many Heartbeats ♥
Teresa @ ♥ Too Many Heartbeats ♥https://www.blogger.com/profile/06926075458122509648noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4985211159621672227.post-23065549860162115312010-06-28T17:08:15.851-04:002010-06-28T17:08:15.851-04:00Awwww what a beautiful tribute and such a gorgeous...Awwww what a beautiful tribute and such a gorgeous picture of your baby girl in the first pic and of you with your family:) thanks for stopping by and for writing something that reminds me what really matters:)Nicolehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05214792179573054167noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4985211159621672227.post-9364711536197662712010-06-28T16:43:52.191-04:002010-06-28T16:43:52.191-04:00Oh and also have an award waiting for on my blog:)...Oh and also have an award waiting for on my blog:)
I think you've received this one before but hey, double awards are always a great compliment! The Mommyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02685805606873396273noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4985211159621672227.post-42121889343097755332010-06-28T16:41:54.354-04:002010-06-28T16:41:54.354-04:00Hi there!

My mom's parents lived in South Africa, so I didn't see them much growing up here in Canada. We went twice when I was young, and they came to visit once when I was young (all under 5). I was the only grand-daughter on that side, so my grandmom made me feel special. I always gots lots of postcards and letters from her. I remember most when just my grandmother visited in my early teens, and then when I visited there when I was 18. They both passed away shortly after that, so I was always glad I went and have a good memory of that trip.

Your story here made me think of them - hense my comment.

I continue to enjoy your blog!Louisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00581172582234851178noreply@blogger.com
