Little Chick has been a busy little bunny the past few days. On Friday she celebrated Easter with her friends at the park while making beautiful Easter eggs and going on a fun egg hunt. Yeterday was spent up at Mystic celebrating her cousins birthday with friends. Another Easter egg hunt and seeing the Easter bunny made it egg-stra special. We then headed to the beach with the dogs to go for a wonderful walk. Little Chick was up bright and early this morning having a fun time with her Easter basket. Happy Easter!

Thanksgiving Thursday

Little Chick has been busy lately with so many exciting things. She had fun making a house for her fairies. She used a box and cute wrapping paper for the outside and decorated it with flowers and pretty paper on the inside. She loves this fairy house and so do the fairies. She had a fantastic time at the Maritime Aquarium visiting her little penguin friends. One penguin swam wherever she went. Very cute! And Little Chick set up a wonderful birthday party for her doggie with Grandma Hen, Gigi and all of her stuffed animal buddies. It was a smash! There is so much to be thankful for each and every day! 

Thanksgiving Thursday: 1.) Little Chick and my family. 2.) Creating wonderful things with my beautiful daughter. 3.) Spring finally coming around. 4.) Little Chick reading chapter books at a fourth grade level. Way to go Little Chick! 5.) All of our beautiful little animals. They bring us such happiness!

Egg-citing Spring

Little Chick and I are so egg-cited that Spring is around the corner. We have been busy little bunnies decorating the house and yard with all of Easter's fun surprises. Little Chick has been working hard on weaving little baskets, creating beautiful eggs and simply making it an easter egg-stravaganza! We love every holiday! Wishing you all a Happy Spring!

A Day at the American Museum of Natural History

Little Chick has been learning all about the Solar System, continents, habitats, endangered animals and so much more. I thought it would be wonderful to reward her with a fun trip to New York City to explore the American Museum of Natural History. What a fabulous day of adventures and learning! Little Chick was so excited when she saw the life size dioramas. I was so proud of her for making the connection with the displays and the diorama she had done in the beginning of the school year. She immediately said, "Mommy, look at those huge dioramas!" Pretty smart to connect a shoebox project to the life size version. We went to the Butterfly Conservatory and loved watching all the fluttering beauty of these delicate creatures. One butterfly sat on Little Chicks finger for a few minutes and then another sat on her shoulder. They knew she was a sweet creature lover. We also went to see the movie Journey to the Stars. This was so fantastic after learning about all of the planets and our Solar System the past couple of months. It was a wonderful day of exploration with my beautiful Little Chick.
