Thanksgiving Thursday - My Greatest Gift

"There are so many blessings to be grateful for. We should never let a day pass without thinking about how enriched our lives truly are." ~Mama Hen
Little Chick is my greatest gift. Every day I tell her that she is my present from God. She tells me the same. I could not ask for anything more. She has fulfilled my life with never ending love, laughter, joy, and abundant smiles. I have learned so much from this beautiful child of mine. She has taught me to have patience, to laugh when I may not feel like it, to apologize, because even mommys make mistakes, to give more of myself because I know she is learning through from my actions, to be strong, because she is gaining strength from my own, to let go of the small stuff, because those things mean nothing in the grand scheme of things, to be silly all the time, because it truly is the only way to be and to be the best me I could possibly be, because she is learning from me all the time. I love my baby with all that I am. May you always know my beautiful daughter that you are the greatest gift and I love you more than anything.

Thanksgiving Thursday: 1.) Little Chick and my family 2.) The gift of unconditional love. 3.) My wonderful blogging friends and to one year of blogging. 4.) For rainy days and the cozy feeling I get being inside with my loving family. 5.) My amazing sister. She has always taken care of me and made sure that she protects me. I want her to know that I love her and appreciate all that she has always done for me.

One Year Blog Anniversary

"A photo journal captures the special day to day moments that otherwise may not be remembered." ~Mama Hen

It is my one year blog anniversary and I have been very happy to capture all the cherished memories here for my beautiful Little Chick. I am so grateful to all the wonderful blog friends I have made this past year. You have made blogging an absolute haven and special place to go when I need support, warmth and kindness. It is a place where blog friends are there for one another and we can watch one another's growth and offer friendship and a kind word when it is needed. Thank you for making this year so special. Here are some pictures from the past few days. On Monday we went to Mystic Aquarium and we have been filling our days with fun art projects. Thank you again for being such wonderful bloggy friends.

Easter In Vermont

"May your Easter basket always be filled with love, giggles and cherished memories." ~Mama Hen
We spent a beautiful Easter weekend up in Vermont. On Saturday it snowed and we felt like we were in a Winter wonderland. We arrived Friday night and had promised Little Chick she could go swimming. They were kind enough to keep the pool open so we could swim for a few minutes. On Saturday we went to see all the animals on the farm. We swam again for hours. And on Sunday the Easter bunny had left a scrumptious basket of goodies, we had a delicious breakfast and then made sure to get one more swim in before we left. It was a cherished Easter that we will always remember.

Easter Egg Hunt

"Through the rain there will always be a glimmer of light. Keep your eyes fixed on the glow and everything will be alright." ~Mama Hen
The past couple of weeks have been tough, but I continue to focus on all the wonderful blessings that surround me. Today Little Chick and I attended and Easter egg hunt with my sister and her children. It was so much fun! There was a DJ, thousands of eggs and plenty of laughter. Cherished Moments Monday - Carnival Time!

"Life is filled with opportunities to create cherished moments that will last forever." ~Mama Hen

We had an amazing Sunday filled with love, fun and lots of excitement! We started the day by going to the pet food store to get some yummy treats for the animals at the Humane Society. While we were visiting our furry friends we discovered that Zoey's mom was there waiting to be adopted. It was so nice to see our new puppy's mom. Little Chick assured her that we were playing with Zoey all the time and taking good care of her. In the afternoon I told Little Chick that I had a big surprise for her. We love surprises! We also love carnivals! When we pulled up to the fair my daughter squealed with such delight! We met my sister and Little Chick's cousin and had a blast! It was a really fun day that we will cherish always! Cousins Weeeeeeeee! Roller coaster fun! Little Chick loves the elephant ride! Cotton candy! Fun on the beach! This was a great day!
