Happy Thanksgiving

Little Chick has been working so hard for a month on this beautiful Thanksgiving display. She worked diligently on making the Wampanoag, Pilgrims, Pilgrim houses and wigwams, as well as the scrumptious feast they all enjoyed for three days. This fantastic scene sits on our kitchen counter where we can see it through out the day and be reminded of all the wonderful things to be thankful for. Happy Thanksgiving!

What better way to learn about the feast of Thanksgiving and to celebrate than to live it! Little Chick makes the cutest little Pilgrim! Throw in a few Wampanoag and you have a Plymouth scene revisited. We love the holidays!

Castles & Thanksgiving Thursday

Little Chick has been learning about castles. We had fun visiting Gillette Castle and taking a beautiful hike. It was a cool autumn day and the sun beamed down lighting our way. After our hike and taking in the magnificent castle we headed out to eat for one of our favorite ladies luncheons. We sat at a table overlooking the water. It was wonderful! Little Chick has also been working on making a castle for her to play with. We had a great time painting it today. We made sure to create a moat and some crocodiles. It has been a super week filled with lots of exploration and creating.

 

Thanksgiving Thursday: 1.) Little Chick and my family. 2.) The loving memories of my Dad that keep me smiling when I miss him so very much. 3.) The gift of imagination. 4.) Hiking with Little Chick. 5.) A beautiful autumn filled with many sunny days and a gorgeous foliage.

Little Chick's Teepee

Little Chick has been studying Native Americans the past month and could not wait to make a teepee! She worked hard on painting this beautiful teepee! The result is absolutely gorgeous! Now it is time for fun!
