Christmas Magic

Little Chick had such a fantastic Christmas! At midnight I heard some bells ringing. I quickly got Little Chick out of bed to see if we could see Santa and his reindeer. We headed to the family room and saw a magnificent sight! Presents were everywhere around the tree and Christmas music was playing. It was beautiful. Little Chick opened her presents with such excitement! Her favorite gift this year was Captain John Smith! So many fun gifts. She played and played until we both got tired and headed up for sleep. The next morning we had fun with all the super gifts Santa brought and then we headed to get Grandma Hen for Christmas dinner at my sister's house.

Little Chick and I have had so much fun getting ready for the holidays. We always have a party for my mom's birthday on December 23rd. The excitement of celebrating birthdays, wrapping gifts for family, friends and our little furry family, and spending time with family warms the heart and brings such joy. Little Chick had fun making cookies for Santa and setting a beautiful place where she could put his coolies, milk and carrots for the reindeer. We love Christmas time!

Thanksgiving Thursday: 1.) Little Chick and my family. 2.) Sledding with Little Chick and our great hill in the backyard. 3.) Thankful for all of our wonderful friends and watching Little Chick have fun with them sledding and getting ready for Christmas. 4.) Sharing time with my family. 5.) All the old Christmas classic movies.

Sledding, Sledding & More Sledding

Little Chick and I can't wait for the snow to fall each year. The excitement of sledding fun gets us all giddy and full of smiles! We had our first snow fall in the beginning of the week and are now in the middle of a really good snow storm. Little Chick and I went sledding a couple of times today. We love to go at night. Little Chick had fun this week sledding with her friends too. Our back yard is made for sledding fun! She also loved going to see the Nutcracker with friends on Thursday. We also have been having a great time making cookies, apple sauce cinnamon ornaments and fun holiday crafts. We love this time of the year!
