Little Chick's Glamour Birthday Party

Little Chick's 6th birthday was a sensation! She hosted a Glamour birthday party that she practiced dressing up for the weeks up until the big celebration. She and her friends received the star treatment with nail polish, tattoos, fun neon hair pieces, dressing up in tutus, boas and high heals. They then put on a magnificent fashion show. The children had a fantastic time showing off their beautiful new look. We then celebrated with a purse pinata, pin the tail on the donkey and of course a delicious ice cream cake that had horses on it. It was a fabulous birthday celebration!

Little Chick has been having so much fun over her summer vacation! She loves gymnastics camp, going to the beach, exploring, spending time with her little animals, taking trips, having playdates and so much more. But between all the fun she loves choosing a good book and settling in to her cuddly chair and reading. She has been reading 3 to 5 books a day and we have been recording it in her reading log for school. I am so proud of my fantastic Little Reader!

Meet Sassy & Bunny

Little Chick got a big surprise yesterday when I picked her up from camp. We headed to the pet store and I showed a Hermit Crab that I had gotten her earlier and I told her to pick one more. She was so excited! She also chose the pool, little house and some trees. She held on to her Hermit Crabs sitting in a small bucket and kept talking to them on the way home. She named them Sassy and Bunny. Of course we had to stop and show Grandma Hen our new family members before getting to our house. Little Chick had so much fun setting up her new crabby's home.

A Day Out with Thomas the Tank Engine

I love filling up our days with fun and exciting activities I hope my daughter will one day cherish looking back on. Yesterday we headed to North Conway for a Day Out with Thomas the Tank Engine. Little Chick was ecstatic! Thomas took us for a ride overlooking the White Mountains. Then we got to meet Thomas and Sir Topham Hatt. It was a lot of fun! Little Chick got a face painting of Thomas on her cheek and we had some sorbet to top off the event. Today we went to the Science Center and saw the Mountain Lion, Bobcat, Sawwet Owl (so adorable), black bears and much more. We walked around for hours. We went to our favorite restaurant for dinner and ended the evening with a fantastic swim. It has been an amazing vacation here in New Hampshire!
