Cherished Moments Monday

"Making memories filled with love, happiness and a whole lot of fun!" ~Mama Hen Little Chick woke up her first night with Belle (well, maybe I made a bit of noise when checking on Little Chick) and she asked about the kitty. I brought her up from downstairs and Little Chick had a midnight playdate with her new kitty. She was ecstatic!
Pudding and Belle get to know one another.
Little Chick did not sleep with Belle the first night after all that midnight fun! But tonight was her second night with her kitty and she was so excited to sleep with her. She looked so cute stretching like Belle. It took quite some time for Little Chick to fall asleep with all the excitement of having a cat in her bed. She kept lifting her head up to check on her.
Sleep well my beautiful Little Chick.

Thanks for your sweet comment on my post tonight. I know you share a similar struggle - I'll hold onto hope, for both of us!

  2. So sweet. We have lovable cats (and dogs) in our family too. Can't imagine where we'd be without them!
    Have a great week.

  8. What darling photos! I wish I could have seen the meeting of Pudding and Belle - or an accompanying audio. :-) It is so good for kids to have animals to love and care for. Teaches so much about gentleness, responsibility, kindness, etc. Enjoy your new kitty, Little Chick! :-)

  11. That is so cute! My Lil~est is about the same age as Little Chick I think, and our poor kitties never have to walk anywhere! I love how the innocence of children and pets are so sweetly the same! :)

  12. This is so sweet! I always find it so wonderful that you allow Little Chick special moments, play time with Kitty, a snack in the kitchen, in the middle of the night. I'm sure she'll remember those special evenings with her Momma when she is older.

  18. Good for you heading to the Humane Society ... but you should have called me first, I have yet to visit there without bringing home a new member of the family.
I love that my girls are surrounded by animals, I also love my Dyson with all of my heart.
