  8. Precious words to live by. Sorry to hear you little one is sick. My teen has been sick for 14 days. Luckily he was able to get out a few hours with us yesterday. Two trips to the Doc, antibiotics and all, infection and virus. Doc says this recent crud going around takes over 2 wks to go away. I pray you enjoy snuggling up with her today. My teen, not into snuggling! ha ha

  9. so sorry to hear little chick is sick -- hope you two have a great day of snuggling together and she feels better real quick : )

to answer your question, we emptied our pool every 4 days this summer -- my husband used a hose so we could use the water to water trees and bushes (which felt good because the pool took quite a bit of water to fill).

  12. Get well soon Little Chick. So sad that the germs get passed around as soon as they start school.

Keep strong Mama Hen! There's nothing sadder that watching a sick child. You just want to wave a magic wand and make it all go away.

  22. I hope a little TLC and chicken noodle soup do the trick. Big Fat Mama had a houseful of sick little ones, too, this weekend. That's just miserable for mother and child! Tell Little Chick to get well soon. We're all rooting for her speedy recovery.
