Little Chick and I love to live each moment to the fullest and take lots of adventures. God has blessed us all with such abundant gifts of nature. We love soaking it all in. Today we took a day trip to East Haddam and tried a new hiking trail at Devil's Hopyard. It was so much fun! Our friends joined us with their new puppy, Skipper. Gigi and Skipper became good friends while hiking the trail along with us. We saw a beautiful waterfall and ate our picnic lunch on a rock that overlooked the cascading water. After our morning of hiking we headed to Gillette Castle to walk around and to go inside William Gillette's castle. It was a lot of fun! On our drive home Gigi and Little Chick were really pooped out. It was a fantastic day!

ReplyDeleteOh I love Gillette's Castle! What a wonderful time! Yes, we definitely need to get together this July. I will take any day off! My work email is abosleyboyce@albertus.edu. I check that email all the time, so I promise not to let a single day go by. We will get together. I can't wait!
