Miracles

"Give thanks for the many miracles we are blessed with each day." ~Mama Hen
Little Chick is my greatest gift! She is my ultimate blessing - a miracle. I waited for many years to finally become a mommy. It was what I had wished for since I was young. When people would ask me what I wanted to be when I got older I would always say a mommy. So when God blessed me with my beautiful daughter on July 26, 2006 I was in such a happy place there are no words to describe it. Last night when I checked on Little Chick sleeping with her arms wrapped around Pooh Bear, I looked at her with such an overwhelming feeling of gratitude. She has filled my heart with an abundance of love and all that is good in the world. I am humbled that God has chosen me to be this beautiful child's mommy. Little Chick may you always know that your mommy loves you more than anything!
Thanksgiving Thursday: 1.) Little Chick and my family. 2.) All the big and small miracles we are blessed with daily. 3.) My mother's giving heart. 4.) My determination and spirit that keeps me going and never allows me to give up. 5.) Chocolate! Oh how I love chocolate.

  2. She is so beautiful! So many children are true miracles - for many reasons. Whether it be years of TTC them or physical battles...whatever it is - each child is a blessing and yours is a real beauty!

  3. That was so sweet! I know she's just as happy you're her mommy as you are that you are. That sounded funny but I hope you know what I meant. :)

  4. What a sweet post. Also love your last line. And while I do indeed love chocolate I'm a bit more of a salty girl...

  7. You are such an amazing lady I wish I had the opportunity to meet in real life! Our views are so similar; you're such an inspiration!

It's so great how you take the time to sit back and count your blessings. We're moving soon, which is A LOT of why I've been a bad bloggy buddy, so things can get hectic, but I try to remember to take a step back and relax and say thanks for how much God has given me :-)
