Please help all of the people who find themselves struggling and "in need" of something.
Please help my mom to feel less pain and help her to get better quickly.
Please make sure that Little Chick is always very happy, healthy and fulfilled in every way.
Help to guide me onto the right road so that my struggles diminish and I may feel at peace within my heart once again.
Let my Dad and grandparents know that I miss them so much and they live on through me and my beautiful daughter.
Please make sure the true spirit of Christmas is celebrated and that people give of themselves freely to all that they can.
Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!
What are your Christmas Wishes?
For this Thanksgiving Thursday I am grateful for:
1.) Little Chick and my family.
2.) My laptop. I have not had one in a week, because it has caught some virus. I did not realize how much comfort I had in having a laptop.
3.) For the smiles I see my mom displaying each time we visit her.
4.) For the kind people that let you go in front of them at the grocery store when they see your child is tired and getting antsy.
5.) Christmas music and holiday movies! I love getting cozy with a hot cup of tea or cocoa and watching a warm film that is filled with Christmas spirit.
You are such a sweetheart! I am sure your grandparents know how much you love and miss them. I'm still praying for your mom!
ReplyDeleteI too have a lot of wishes this year! Healthy and happy family, healthy and happy new baby, and if there's anything left over, some winning lotto numbers! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy to see your post, I didn't see one from you and was worried about your mom. This is a really tough time of year for some many people. I think your wishes are wonderful! I hope your laptop is working again, I know it makes staying in touch on the computer so much easier!
ReplyDeleteAmen. I'm really hoping your mom is getting some relief, and you too from your worries and stresses. I know how you feel about the laptop - I depend on mine so much! Hugs and prayer for some relief in your family!
ReplyDeleteThinking of you and your family during this difficult time. It is so admirable that you have found the blessings in amongst your stress. We, your readers, are SO glad your laptop is working again. We need you to keep those touching posts coming :-)
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely words. Hope your mom is starting to feel a little better. Have they scheduled surgery for her yet? Keeping her in my prayers.:-)
ReplyDeleteWanted to let you know I'm doing a holiday giveaway, if you get a chance stop by and enter :-)

Have a wonderful night!
Many blessings,

My kids and I love watching all of the Christmas cartoons: Rudolph, Frosty the Snowman, A Charlie Brown Christmas, etc. during the holiday season. We have a copy of How the Grinch Stole Christmas, but we still watch it when it comes on tv anyway, commercials and all! My hubs loads Christmas CDs in all of the slots and we enjoy different artists singing our favorite carols. I'm glad your mom can find something to smile about amidst her health issues.
ReplyDeleteI love your Christmas wishes and hope each and every one comes true. I hope your mom starts feeling better soon. Please take care of yourself.
ReplyDeleteI'm keeping you and your mom in my thoughts! I have a lot of Christmas wishes this year, too. It's been a rough year in more ways than one. Right now I'm fighting a terrible rash that keeps spreading and I'm pretty miserable but it helps to read uplifting blogs like yours where you try to see the positive amidst the hardship. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet post! I'll admit sometimes I get all wrapped up in the commerical aspect of the holidays but this year seems different. I'm noticing myself being oh so grateful for all I have. Hope your Mom feels better soon! Take care!
ReplyDeletePS I LOVE Pilates :-)
That snowman is as big as Little Chick!
ReplyDeleteThere is so much to be grateful for this and every year. A smile on the face of a child is enough for me today. x
I hope all your prayers come true!
ReplyDeleteLittle chick as always looks beautiful in that dress.
what a heartfelt post! Prayers are with you during this difficult time you are going through...I know that Little Chick is your light and keeps you positive each and every day! We are thankful for SO much this holiday season as well, isn't that what Christmas is all about? I'm making sure not to focus on "stuff" this year and make sure we all know how truly blessed we are! Beautiful quote to start your post...LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteOh I just love Little Chick's dress in that pic, so cute!
ReplyDeletePlenty to be thankful for. And I'll be praying for your mama, my sweet friend!
I just stumbled on your blog tonight and I love this post... so sweet and thought-provoking =)
ReplyDeleteYour Christmas wishes are beautiful. Hope your mom finds a lot of cheer and joy with the true spirit of Christmas :) Thanks for your sweet comment!
