Everlasting Bond

"It does not take a lifetime to create an everlasting bond. One special moment in time can form the fondest of memories and closest of friendships." ~Mama Hen
Today we said farewell to my cousin. Little Chick had become very attached to her and she really did not want her to go. Yesterday we had a really fun time making more special memories together. Little Chick, my cousin and I danced around the kitchen and family room for quite some time. This is a Little Chick and mommy tradition that my cousin immediately participated in. We were so excited that she wanted to grab some instruments and join our silliness. We also watched a video of my Dad that had us laughing and crying. It left us feeling warm and fuzzy and knowing that my Dad had some Heavenly involvement in bringing my cousin and I together after all these years. Little Chick spent some time making beautiful illustrations of her Auntie, herself and the kittie cats. It was sad to say goodbye today, but the warm and loving "feeling" we are left with from this one week is one that will last a lifetime.

Plenty of giggles!
Dancing and twirling!

So cute!
