"A profound love for something can be the staple in life that embeds a permanent smile in one's heart." ~Mama Hen It is no secret that my daughter and I love the beach, the sand, the water, the salt air and everything that we can explore on the water. We go as often as we can to our favorite place. I have been drawn to the water since I was a child. It is something that has carried me through the most difficult times and has always been something I can count on to bring a smile to my heart. It is a gift of myself that I share with my beautiful daughter. These pictures were from last week when we drove up north again. It was an absolutely gorgeous day and we could not pass up the opportunity to spend some time at the beach. Little Chick loved discovering a mountain of shells. She climbed up and slid down many times. I treasure these moments I spend with my baby and know as we grow older we will look back and remember how incredibly peaceful and happy it was.

ReplyDeletethat mountain of shells is too cool!! I also wish we lived closer to the beach. I grew up near it in CA but, now in NC it is a good 2 hour drive to get there but, i am going in a few weeks and can't wait!! These pictures are so sweet. I love that you too love to cherish your moments!!
ReplyDeleteYou are a true example of someone who 'lives in the moment' with your babe! This will so pay off for you and for her. That relationship? Will always be such a strong bond.
ReplyDeleteI wanna slide on those rocks too :) PRECIOUS! She is always filled with so much happiness...good job, Momma!!!
ReplyDeleteI can almost feel the air coming off that water. Looks like a fantastic place to visit, and as often as possible! :-)
ReplyDeleteThe beach and water have such a calming effect. Looking at your pictures makes me want to visit the beach, I haven't gone in a while. I'm so glad you and LC enjoy such happy times together!

Amazing how the being at the beach can just wash your worries away. We live 20 min. from teh beach adn we don't go nearly as often as we should. I am inspired, my friend.
