She could not wait to put on her puddle jumpers, grab her umbrella and go for a walk in the rain. She had a grin from ear to ear! The more rain the better! I love watching my daughter take a muddy wet day and turn it into the most amazing adventure. She marched along our yard singing her heart out. Take a look at the video. She had already been singing for quite a while. I learn something every day from my beautiful Little Chick who has such a zest for life! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Thursday!
Thanksgiving Thursday: 1.) Little Chick and my family 2.) Peaceful moments 3.) My desire to change the things that I am unhappy with and to appreciate the things I absolutely love. 4.) Business trips that bring my cousin back here from Spain in a week. Little Chick is so excited! 5.) The never ending strength, love and encouragement I receive from the amazing women in my life!

ReplyDeleteWhat a sweetheart! And I love that umbrella. :-) As long as there's no lightning or strong winds, I think it's a great thing to take kids outdoors on a rainy day to explore the backyard! Some kids just never get that opportunity. So glad you do that with Little Chick. She sounds so happy! :-)

We're having a rainy streak here, a good time to set out my garden plants outdoors so they 'harden off' without getting sunburned. It will be another whole month before I can actually plant them in the garden, though. Have a great day!
