Celebrating Our Abundant Blessings

"Every day there are so many blessings to be celebrated."
~Mama Hen
Little Chick had a spectacular Christmas morning filled with penguins, doggies, games and all the things she wanted on her list to Santa. She was so excited! It made me so happy to see her light up. My husband is still in the hospital and it was important to me to make sure Little Chick had a very special holiday. Today we had our first real snow that we could go sledding! We were up and down the hill in my backyard many times and topped it off with hot chocolate. Little Chick and I dream of snowy days where we can get silly making snow angels and go sledding nonstop. I hope your holiday was a very happy one.
Christmas morning
Yummy hot chocolate.

  10. I had to take my husband to the hospital due to his swollen leg. He asked that if he had to stay in the "hacienda" if I would visit him on Christmas Day! Within seconds I had a master plan involving a small Christmas Tree, piles of presents, the kids and I there in our PJs and a turkey platter of course. His response was that you can't plug a tree in until the electrical guys check it. Isn't that just like a man - all "practical"?! (He didn't have to stay.)

Glad to see the glowing smile on little chick. I wondered how you were going to fulfill the wish for penguins - the stuffed ones are so cute!

My prayers are still with you and your family. Hope hubby gets well soon.
