Friends and Thanksgiving Thursday

"Friends come in all shapes, colors, textures and sizes. Be thankful for the gift of friendship." ~Mama Hen
Little Chick loves to visit her buddy Memphis when she takes her horseback riding class each week. This week she made sure to bring a bag of carrots to feed all of her horse pals. Memphis was not one for sharing. It was a good thing we brought a big bag. Little Chick has been amazing in her classes. Today, which was only her 6th class, she trotted for a good portion of it. She also navigated through cones making her horse, Snickers, go left and right. I am so incredibly proud of my Little Chick. Or should I say Little Rider!
Thanksgiving Thursday: 1.) Little Chick and family. 2.) That our friend survived the seizure and is doing really well. Thank you Dear God. 3.) Air conditioning in 100 degree weather. 4.) Surprises in the mail (thank you Marcy). 5.) For friends who know what to say and can calm me down when emergencies happen.
For my Mom who is ALWAYS my rock! Thank you Mommy!

  1. Memphis is such a cool name for an animal...or even for a kid! Love that! LC looks so cute leading the horse around. My younger sisters both LOVED horses and even had two after I moved out. Lucky gals!! Great pictures! xo

  6. Darling, just darling! I'm glad she is progressing so well with her lessons. Cam starts horse camp in a few weeks and I'm nervous but excited for her. I hope she comes away with a really positive and educational experience!
