It is Smile Sunday and I hope to spread some smiles around! In April Little Chick, Grandma Hen and I painted some birdhouses to put up in the yard. A couple of weeks ago when we were outside playing I noticed a bit of commotion going on in Grandma Hen's house. A mama bird kept flying out to search for some food for her tiny babies. Every time she returned Little Chick and I could hear the babies sing "peep, peep, peep." It was so cute! The other day I was able to catch a picture of the mama bird bringing a worm to her young. Enjoy your day! Have a happy Smile Sunday!

We have a birdhouse we need to paint too! What a great activity that is.
ReplyDeleteThis is so wonderful. I love it when children are able to have relationships like this with their grandparents. Mine are uninvolved and do not take the time....we try to make up for it, but the real thing is so much better!
ReplyDeleteOh how neat, this is something I would love to do. My kiddos and I love birds and crafting together. We have some hawks in the farm house behind us and we are looking forward to hear those babies.
