God's Abundant Presents

We have been thoroughly enjoying our journey to New Hampshire. There is so much to explore and take in. We had a surprise visit from my sister and her family for one night. We enjoyed visiting The Lost River. It was amazing! We climbed hundreds of stairs, watched waterfalls and explored caves. We then headed to the pool for a whole bunch of fun. The outdoor hot tub was so relaxing while overlooking the mountains. On Sunday Grandma Hen, Little Chick and I headed to The Flume. It was stunning! We walked along cascading water for two hours. It was absolutely incredible! We had fun swimming again and then ended the day with some yummy ice cream and sorbet. It has been so fantastic! It is such a blessing to be surrounded by God's heavenly presents.

New Hampshire's Beauty

Our trip to New Hampshire has been filled with so many fantastic things! The vast beauty everywhere is breathtaking. We have made each day an exploratory opportunity. Even with rain and fog, we make sure we see as much as we can see and learn as much as we can learn. This week we explored several trails and saw some amazing bridges. We hiked to Sabbaday Falls to see the gorgeous water fall. We walked along the river and stopped to see all the beauty along the way. We have made journeys to little towns and love having lunch and talking with the friendly people from around here. We loved visiting the Science Center on Squam Lake. We saw a myriad of animals that can be found here in New Hampshire's forests. It was exciting to see the Bobcat and Black Bear! Yesterday we went to the state capitol, Concord, and enjoyed seeing the State House and the statues of Franklin Pierce (our fourteenth president), the bell and so much more. We made sure to go to the Planetarium where Little Chick got to sit in a cockpit and fly a jet. It has been a fantastic journey!

The Gift of Exploration

We had such an amazing day at the Polar Caves! Little Chick loved exploring through the woods and in all the glacial boulder caves. We climbed so high and crawled into some spectacular spaces. It was a gorgeous day and the mountain views from the Raven's Roost was out of this world! We had lunch in Plymouth and then headed back for an afternoon swim. New Hampshire is absolutely beautiful!
