We jumped into June with a marvelous beach splash! Little Chick and I love the beach and we have surely been enjoying it this season. We had so much fun Thursday and Friday with our friends hanging out on the warm sand simply having a great time. Yesterday we even sat through some rain clouds but stuck it out and the sun came out with a beautiful heart to say "thanks for waiting for the rain to stop." Today was absolutely gorgeous weather and Little Chick and I decided to have mommy daughter time at the beach. We packed our lunch, sand toys and bright smile and hit the sand once again. We will definitely be beach bums this summer!

Little Chick and I enjoyed a beautiful day at the beach today with our good friends. It was a perfect day to play in the sand, listen to the rippling waves and take a walk collecting shells. These are the moments with Little Chick I absolutely LOVE!

Memorial Day Fun

Little Chick and I had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend with family and friends. On Saturday we enjoyed having the family over for a yummy barbecue and on Sunday we spent the day at the beach with our good friends. It has been such a fun holiday weekend filled with much laughter and love.

Little Chick's Big Love

It's no secret that Little Chick absolutely LOVES horses! From the moment she watched Elizabeth Taylor in National Velvet when she was just three years old that spark inside of her began to burn brightly. Little Chick has been happy to get back to riding this spring. As soon as we arrive at the farm she lights up with such delight. As a mom I feel such joy seeing my daughter filled with such passion and compassion for her four legged friends. What better way to celebrate spring!

Dear Little Chick,

Happy 10th birthday my beautiful baby girl! I love you more than anything in the world! You have grown into a smart, caring, warm, very funny, compassionate, empathetic, gorgeous, athletic, amazing young lady. I am so proud of you all the time. You make me smile and laugh throughout each day. Your giggles and silliness are contagious and the bright happy light you carry within brightens everyone's day. You are so beautiful and I feel so blessed to be your mommy. I love you!  Love, Mommy

Little Chick's Birthday Party

Little Chick had a fabulous 10th birthday! She woke up around 5:00 am ready to get the day started. Yup! I said 5:00 am. She could not wait for all the surprises that the day had waiting for her. She was so excited! After opening gifts from mommy in the morning she got to lounge around and watch her favorite movie - Zootopia.  Then her godmom came and we went out for a birthday brunch. She was surprised with a candle and ice cream and lots of singing from all the waiters and people in the restaurant. We went to see The Secret Life of Pets in the afternoon. What a cute movie! Then it was off our family birthday dinner. So many laughs and fun! It was such a beautiful birthday!
