Applesauce Cinnamon Ornaments

"Creating something for the holidays with the ones we love fills the heart and warms the home." ~Mama Hen
We love making ornaments and every year we have fun making applesauce cinnamon ornaments. They are easy to make and make the house smell delicious!
Applesauce Cinnamon Ornaments
1 1/2 - cups store bought applesauce
1 1/2 - cups cinnamon + more for dusting
1/8 - cup glue (Elmers)

ribbon to hang on the tree

Mix applesauce, cinnamon and glue in bowl. Use hands to mix well. Like making cookies, grab a good amount, roll into a ball and then use a rolling pin to flatten out (don't make too thin). Use cookie cutters to create the shapes you would like. You might want to use extra cinnamon to dust a bit like you would use flour so it won't stick to rolling pin or surface. Put on wax paper and wait a couple of days to dry. Make sure to add a hole for a ribbon while it is still wet. Flip shapes on the second day, so the bottom can dry. Add ribbon and hang.
