"It's the little things that leave a warm lasting impression." ~Mama Hen
The past few weeks have been filled with many things that will surely have a lasting impression. First, Little Chick and I have been taking care of my mom every day. She has been to more doctors than I can count and has been through so much. We are "loving" her back to health. During these weeks Little Chick lost her 7th tooth. She could not wait to call Grandma Hen and tell her all about it after she placed the tooth in her little suitcase that she puts under her pillow. She was so excited when her fairy, Oceana Wavey, brought her money and a little fairy. Little Chick has been a little angel to my mom and has been with her to every doctor's appointment. She makes sure she rests and eats. She is a great little nurse. Little Chick bought a new dollie that she named after Grandma Hen with her tooth fairy money. She also always makes quite an impression on the chickens when we go to the farm for our fresh veggies. They flock to her every time. We had fun the other day at the lake with friends spish splashing in the water park! Today she had a fun time with her friends at the ice cream shop learning how to make ice cream. The children made their own flavor to take home. With a heat wave of above 90 degrees for weeks, the ice cream sure will be a cool treat!
What a sweetheart! I love her horsey bedding!! Making ice cream looks like a lot of fun! Have you taken her to American Girl Place yet?
ReplyDeletehope your mom is still okay and LOVE is the best medicine! She's so cute and looks like having as much fun as ever!
ReplyDeleteSo Glad your there for your mom. Amazing how our parents turn into our kids at a point and we become their parents for a short time. God is good, he's got this all handled. The tooth fair pics resemble what savy when through. Adorable times.
ReplyDeleteTake care my friend.
Great pictures, as always! Sending good thoughts to you and your family.
ReplyDeleteStopping by to say hi. Hope your Mom starts to feel better. Little Chick is getting so big and beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGlad Little Chick is being such a helpful nurse. Children are so nurturing. I'm still praying for your mom and that she will get better. I wish we had a place around here to go and make soy ice cream. It's been hot and rainy here.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to hear about you Mom! Hope they find a resolution soon. You must be exhausted!
ReplyDeleteLittle chick is getting so tall. Amazing how fast they grow.

How fun! Little Chick has a heart of pure gold, and it's you Mama Hen that is inspiring her to become such a wonderful young lady. Here's to the two very best people I know! (Sending prayers your way to Grandma Hen. I sure do hope she starts feeling better.)
