Little Chick Visits Sturbridge Village

"There are so many opportunities to explore and learn! Why not head out on an adventure today?!" ~Mama Hen
We have been studying quite a bit about different periods. I have always wanted to bring Little Chick to Sturbridge Village in Massachusetts. Autumn is the perfect time to visit this spectacular village! We took a couple stagecoach rides, saw the houses from the 1800's and enjoyed talking with the people dressed in period costumes. Little Chick was excited to wear a bonnet and pick out a dress from that period. She made a cute craft (a little house) and loved seeing all the animals. It was a fantastic adventure!

  1. Didn't Little Chick have a blast at Old Sturbridge Village! We love that place and have visited there twice. Such a wonderful experience, a step back in time. I'm so glad she had the opportunity to go! Love her colonial outfit. :-)

  2. I love Old Sturbridge Village. I haven't been there for years...probably not since I was Little Chick's age. It looks like you all had a great time, and now I see why she was inspired to dress like someone from the 1800's for Halloween... Very, very cute!
