I opened my eyes and saw Little Chick standing there with a precious smile. She said, "Mommy, you are beautiful." I am crying as I write this. It is a moment like this that will never leave my soul. She is my greatest gift and I can't thank God enough for such a blessing! There is nothing more important then the love we give to and receive from our children.

ReplyDeleteI noticed that once my hubby left from R&R, Jake reacted, I was sad, it was hard on the both of us. For a few days, I was just going through the motions with Jake. I snapped out of it, looked at him, and saw him for the miracle he is. Can't take our kids for granted :-)

ReplyDeleteSO, SO, SOOOO sweet! That girl is precious and what a feeling that must have been! I love when Jacob picks a flower for me or picks something "girly" out at the store and tells me he's buying it for me with his piggy bank money because he loves me so much! PRECIOUS moments like these are what being a Momma is ALL about!

Those moments always make me cry! This morning my 6 year old told me I was "the best mom ever." I hold on to those moments hard.
