Little Chick is a giver. She thinks of others and how she might give of herself all the time. She adores all of God's creatures and asks me often if she can feed the birds, bring treats to the horses and get special treats for her doggies. She does not expect anything but gets such joy out of making others happy. What better gift is there than to give and to spread happiness!
Thanksgiving Thursday: 1.) Little Chick and my family. 2.) To give of myself freely. 3.) For the simple pleasure of being outside surrounded by nature. 4.) Little Chick's beautiful heart. 5.) Long walks on the beach.

ReplyDeleteLove the giving spirit that children naturally have. It's truly something that I wish more parents would nurture in kids so that they can keep that same spirit well into adulthood. I know for me there is no greater feeling than giving to others.

What a wonderful post! You're little chick is growing up to be much like you!!! There's no question in my mind that you both love to give of yourselves freely without expecting anything in return. I wish more people felt the same way...What a learning lesson for us all!
