ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to Little Chick! Isn't it a shame how fast they grow? Aiden will be 4 in December, and I cn't believe how fast the time has gone by. But with the passing of time come those lovely memories that we, as mothers, will cherish and hold onto forever!
ReplyDeleteI hope her birthday is a great one!

ReplyDeleteShe looks so beautiful in the tiara! What a little princess. She just glows when she's happy. You can't help but feel happy too.
ReplyDeleteI participated in Smile Sunday. I had a photo all picked out earlier in the week . . . but for the life of me I can't remember what it was now! I'm at that age, no pitty - please.
Instead I shared a cartoon I found months ago. THAT I could remember. Go figure.
Hi again! Thanks so much!! ♥ About the veggies - my kids are getting better about eating them outright, but I do hide them too. For example...spaghetti and meat sauce: I grid up sweet potatoes, carrots, zucchini, squash and onions (any combo of those) in my food processor and sautee them in EVOO until they are soft. I don't boil because you can lose some of the nutrients. When you mix it with lean ground beef, you don't notice the veggies. I put the same veggies in hamburgers or anything with ground beef, actually. My kids like homemade soups, and don't give me grief about the veggies in there. Oh, and with 4 large baking potatoes (for making mashed potatoes), I use an entire head of broccoli. I mash it up with the potatoes, yes they're green - LOL, but with a little sour cream, my kids LOVE them. Those are a couple off the top of my head...but they do really good. Can't wait to hear about Little Chick's B-day!!!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the "princess in pigtails" photo with fork in hand, poised and ready to dig into some birthday cake. I'm smiling with you! -EW
