his repayment is. Virtue begins when he dedicates himself actively to the job of gratitude."
I love Thanksgiving Thursday! There is so much to be thankful for on this beautiful earth! I feel as though I have written those exact words before, but I don't mind because it needs to be said as often as I can say it! This week started off with a spectacular celebration of life - my beautiful daughter's birthday. I can't think of anything greater to be thankful for in my life. She is my precious gift from God and I am forever grateful! Here are the five things I give thanks to this week:
1.) Little Chick and my family.
2.) Birthdays and being able to celebrate them with family, friends and many super presents!
3.) Plenty of clean drinking water, nutritional food and being able to live without knowing the struggle and anguish of hunger.
4.) For the ability to love fully and completely.
5.) For the seasons! I love all of them, but Autumn has always been my favorite!
The celebration continues!
We headed to Six Flags on Tuesday and had a fun day!

Aren't Grandma Hens the best? I love the hair sticking out from under the hat-a little static cling or just curls gone wild?! Thanks, again for the Foxy Mama award-just left a message on yesterday's post as well. Have a wonderful Thankful Thurday. -EW
ReplyDeleteWhat a splendid way to continue the celebration! I've not seen Pooh Bear juice before, great detective work Grandma Hen! It's great to use the same exact words from before! If it comes out of you as often as can be, that means it's ingrained in you - and what a simple, wonderful truth to possess inside of you! I'm joining in Thanksgiving also, you've got me started, now I can't stop which is an awesome thing!!
ReplyDeleteYou always have the sweetest and most inspiring posts. You two look very happy in the pics. She's one lucky girl! :)

ReplyDeletelove the pictures... so beautiful. looks like you had some fun.
It looks like you guys had a lot of fun at the park! My favorite on your Thankful list this week is #3 - it's something that we often take for granted, and that there are so many people (in our country even) who don't have access to this.
ReplyDeleteLike all your pics, but that last one is just stunning! Best wishes as you move beyond the dog with your fitness project. ;-) By the way, autumn is my favorite season too! We usually have Thanksgiving in mid-October because that's when the weather is wonderful! :-)

I love autumn best too. The colored leaves, the crisp air, the sense of a new beginning because all the classes and groups start then.

I really love how the slide looks in that picture. It's very clear that you truly are thankful, by the way.
ReplyDeleteOh! More Six Flags fun...I'm so jealous! :-) Looks like a great day. And your slide picture was AWESOME! I love that! Now you have me wanting to dash out to the park for a similar picture - LOL! Love it! :-)
