Peace. Love. Happiness."
I know my mom might not like this picture being out there for all of blogland with her beach hair, but every time I see this photo I smile and feel thankful. Little Chick loves her Omi (grandmom) so much! She always says "I miss Omi" the minute we pull out of her driveway, when she wakes up and when she goes to sleep. The two have a special bond that is really fun to see. I feel so blessed to live close by my mom. It makes it easy to stop by often. Little Chick and I like to call her and say, "We are going to scoop you up." Then we show up ten minutes later and take her to dinner or shopping. It is the little things that my daughter will remember as the most comforting. I am so thankful for that.
What is one of the little things you are thankful for?
So, so very precious! My heart is bursting...
ReplyDeleteSo sweet. My boys love their Nana too. Its so fun to see their bond.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. It really is.
ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet! I too am thankful for the fact that my boys love their grandparents so much! Having a bond with a grandparent is priceless! I hope you have a wonderful night and weekend!
ReplyDeletebeautiful picture...should be framed. What a bond between grandma and her precious granddaughter! I am SO thankful that we live close to both of our parents, and the boys have a strong relationship with them! When my mom comes over, the boys light up with excitement...that brings me joy like NO other!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend :)
I love that picture! If I sit in her lap will she hug me too?????
ReplyDeleteAwwww.. lovely picture! Thanks for sharing! One of the little things I'm thankful for is my boy still gets to enjoy his grandmom (my MIL) too!

ReplyDeletethis photo falls under the catergory of 'a picture tells a thousand words' ....
ReplyDeletelove it!
my parents live an hour away, which is close enough for us to all visit but not as often as i would like (or ella and zoe -- they feel the same way about their grama as little chick does about hers). 'Scoop you up' --- LOVE that too!
oh how sweet! how nice to be able to scoop up grandma in ten minutes time... little chick is so blessed!!
ReplyDeleteI don't think there could be a more perfect picture. Such love just emits from it. There is no love like that of a grandmother. It's a special bond. It looks like no body has to tell Little Chick that.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing to see your mom turn into a grandma? It's such a blessing to see something special between those two!
ReplyDeleteIt may not be her favourite picture but it's a great one :D There are so many little things to be thankful for, it's important not to lose sight of them.

Have a great weekend.
Aw! This makes me wish I lived closer to my parents!
ReplyDeleteThat is the sweetest picture! I am thankful for Skype - it lets Georgia get to know both sets of grandparents, even though they live 3000 miles away. They read books to her, sing "Itsy Bitsy Spider" and she tells them all her new words. It makes living so far away almost bearable.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a sweet picture!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet. Thanks for sharing. I linked this to my Monday Morning Favorites post:
